Loving Day celebrates the anniversary of Loving v. Virginia (1967), the Supreme Court case that legalized interracial marriage and relationships in the United States. The project encourages people to host their own celebrations on or around June 12th, and also hosts large public gatherings. Loving Day is also an ongoing educational project that provides information and resources about interracial couples and the multiethnic community.
